4. Enjoy the distraction-free time with your family and friends and realize how much fun you actually can have without phones!

As a parent and dad, I am aware of the ever-increasing demands and distractions on our kids' time from electronic devices. I see that, often in my OWN household, conversations and personal interaction sometimes takes a backseat to screen time, the latest Tweet, or recent Facebook post.
By no means do I feel that devices aren't beneficial or useful, but I want people to realize there is a whole world that's not a part of a screen! I designed this challenge to be fun, not punishing, and hopefully give everyone the ability to see that life is pretty awesome both with and without devices being ever-present.
